So leaving home today, I thought this dress was much more conservative than it actually is. There is truth in pictures - this hemline is way too short for my own work-appropriate boundary! Nonetheless, I really like this look. I love the funky shoulder detail of this dress; it's warm too.

p.s. I could do this dress for work again, but it would need much thicker stockings. Alternatively, a longer coat will also do the trick.

On the Job

Work's been busy lately. We've just returned from Mpumalanga, where we visited orphanages and did a couple of stories. In between, we took a drive through Kruger National Park. Here're some pictures.

When travelling to the villages, I dress down and comfortable.

I really love this faux fur vest from Miss Boss - I've worn it a few times already and just can't get enough! It's been the perfect add on; it adds some drama and offers the ideal amount of warmth! Great investment piece.

(Things I'm thankful for.)

A heater, everywhere these days.

An extra blanket on the bed. 

A TV in the bedroom, despite my previous objection - my bed makes a better sofa than a cold leather couch.

A wors roll stand (think hot dog, just better), and R12 to get one.

Woolworths' butternut soup. Hmmm.

Sour cream and chives dip. 

Technology. Saw a picture of my niece or nephew on the way. :)
