Classic Quirk

Pants & Shoes: Thrifted; Shirt: Mr Price; Blazer: Identity; Bag: Sowearto

I love pairing black and white. It's a timeless, classic combo that only needs a red lip. But I also love (perhaps not so classic) quirky elements of an outfit. The bow-tied ribbon, the high waist, the stripes, the fun shoes, the bun - maybe the mix of all of this is what makes this look feel a little quirky. It feels playful and fresh, and who doesn't need some playful and fresh by Thursday each week?

I adore these shoes I thrifted recently. Now, I'm generally weary of thrifting shoes - but this pair, this pair spoke to me. I promise. It looks like it's never been worn, and that's a huge factor when I even consider thrifting shoes. Do you have thrifting boundaries?

Thank you to Lerato for these pictures.

Thank you for coming by!

  1. Perfection! Really love everything about the look, you have such an amazing sense of fashion :) Where do you thrift? SS

    1. Hi Siyaam, thank you so much! :) I thrift where ever I find a store! Hospice, a place called Bounty Hunters here in Jo'burg - a charity store that sells everything from clothing to books. I haven't even been to Salvation Army's thrift store here, but soon!

  2. Looks great. Love the blazer and your hair :)
