Cheap Style

Skirt: Thrifted
Top: Piccadilly
Shoes: Mr Price
Bag: Accessorize

I'd like to introduce my new skirt. Skirt, reader - reader, skirt. I was thrilled when I first met her, and at R15 (about $2!) she was pretty easy.

You don't have to spend thousands to look presentable, or good. What I think is important is that you exude confidence, and wear clothes your way. Don't let your clothes wear you. I've heard that line so many times that I'm starting to believe it was my idea in the first place! ;)

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you would have noticed that I get a lot of stuff from Mr Price, Piccadilly and even China Town. Yes, there are those investment pieces that are worth the splurge but you really can manage on a tight budget. This entire outfit costs very little. Bag, less 75% - Top, at about R30 and these shoes are R120.

Being innovative is another way of stretching that budget. For instance, I initially paired this with grey shoes and a grey blazer. That would've been just fine. I went with pink instead for pop - giving a whole new look with the same basics.

But I'm no expert - I learn as I go along, as it should be.

Hope you're having a good week so far.
Thank you for coming by,
